Round Table India and Ladies Circle India jointly fly 30 underprivileged Girl kids to Hyderabad for free through the Fantasy Flight program


Round Table India & Ladies Circle India has been conducting Flight of Fantasy for many years now for Underprivileged kids who study in their Freedom Through Education schools built and supported by Tables. On 28th of May 2022, two Tables from Chennai, Madras Esplanade RT 30 & Madras Knights RT 181 took 30 girl students between the age group of 12 to 16 years, from Siragu Montessori school, Avadi & Sasha Mohinani Vivekananda Vidyalaya, Manali, to Hyderabad by Indigo flight for a day full of fun and first time experiences.

The day started with breakfast supported by Uncle Sam's Kitchen. Later, kids went through the actual experience of entering the airport with their ID’s, systematic Checkin process, strict and thorough Security check, and then a disciplined boarding procedure. Upon reaching Hyderabad, the kids got a peep of the cockpit and a quick picture with the Air hostesses. At the exit, we had our other partner Table, Hyderabad One RT 212 of Area 9 who coordinated the logistics from the Airport to Wonderla Theme Park, Entry and lunch at Wonderla and drop back at the airport with enough & more Snacks. The kids had a wonderful time for about 5 hours exploring different kinds of rides and the magnificence of the Park. It was a sunny day but nothing stopped these kids from having a blast. At around 5pm, we left to the Hyderabad International airport and took our flight back to Chennai. Sumptuous dinner was served by Azzuri Bay restaurant.

Chairmen Arihant Parakh (MERT-30) Sunil Bajaj (MKRT-181) & Vivek Maheshwari (HORT-212) jointly voiced that The most important takeaway of the day was - “Their smile and gratitude definitely gave us all immense satisfaction. So this was definitely a “Flight of Fantasy“ not only for these kids but also for us who went along with them. We are so grateful that this experience has opened up the students’ minds about technology and discipline beyond their daily lives. Round Table India truly lives by its spirit - Freedom through Education.”
